Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients, including cleanings, examinations, and preventive treatments
• Educate patients on oral health best practices and personalized care plans
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure a smooth patient experience
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain before start)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in a clinical dental setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency with dental software and charting systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
• Time management skills to maintain an efficient schedule
