Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
Location: Sacramento, CA
Start Date: 09-15-2026
End Date: 12-15-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, 10-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM. Weekdays with weekend call rotation as required.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray imaging on patients across all floors, the emergency department, and surgical suites
- Operate radiologic equipment including GE, Carestream portables, OEC C-Arms, and O-Arm
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver accurate diagnostic images
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
- Participate in call rotation to provide 24/7 imaging coverage
Qualifications
- Valid ARRT (R) certification in Radiography
- California Fluoro Permit and California Radiology License (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-ray Tech
- Experience with C-arms, portables, and O-arm is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in general radiology and R&F procedures
- Experience with portable X-ray equipment (Carestream)
- Comfortable using Cerner charting system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
