Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful care to residents throughout the overnight hours
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to implement individualized care plans
• Assist with daily living activities and offer emotional support to residents and families
• Maintain a calm, safe, and clean environment for high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in New Mexico
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and stand or walk for extended periods
• Compassionate and clear communicator who works well in a team
• Previous long-term care experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medication administration and nursing documentation
• Understanding of infection control and patient safety standards
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting systems
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergency situations
