Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and remove plaque and calculus to keep patients' smiles healthy
• Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth from decay
• Document patient care and keep dental records up to date
• Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms to maintain a safe, welcoming environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy dental practice
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Skill in taking and interpreting dental X-rays
• Familiarity with dental practice software and patient records
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Strong patient education and communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with dentists and dental assistants
