Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers to ensure patient safety
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Document care provided and vital signs accurately
• Support patients with meals and hydration, ensuring nutritional needs are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and families
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Understanding of infection control and HIPAA
• Skills in taking vital signs and documenting electronically
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely
• Empathy and active listening skills
• Adaptability to work with diverse patient populations
