Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER setting
• Triage patients based on acuity and prioritize care accordingly
• Administer medications, IV treatments, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous emergency department experience is a plus
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
• Skilled in patient assessment, IV insertion, and wound care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in electronic health records documentation
