Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments to keep patients smiling.
• Capture and analyze dental X-rays to spot potential issues early.
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene routines that make a lasting impact.
• Document treatment plans and patient care details with precision and care.
• Partner with our dentist to deliver seamless, quality dental care every day.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment so every patient feels safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR certification (we can help you renew if needed).
• A warm, patient-focused personality with a commitment to exceptional care.
• Prior experience in a dental office is a plus but not required.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Knowledge & Skills

• Sound knowledge of dental hygiene best practices and sterilization protocols.
• Strong verbal communication and patient teaching skills.
• Comfort using dental practice management software for charting and records.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational multitasking.
• A compassionate approach that puts patients at ease.
