Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and promptly report any changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California (or compact license if applicable)
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Previous med-surg or telemetry nursing experience is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compassionate environment
• A genuine passion for patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Sound knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and protocols
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent assessment and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Effective collaboration and communication within a multidisciplinary team
