Location: Claremont, NH

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Day Shift
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement personalized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through guided exercises and modalities
- Document patient progress accurately and keep the care team informed of changes
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue at home
- Support a compassionate, patient-centered environment in a skilled nursing setting
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Hampshire (or compact eligibility)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care is a plus
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- A caring, positive attitude and the desire to make a real difference
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, modalities, and rehabilitation techniques
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Compassionate bedside manner and patience
- Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
