Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in accordance with care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor residents' conditions and communicate changes to the care team
• Document care provided and observations in electronic health records
• Collaborate with CNAs, nurses, and providers to ensure quality outcomes
• Respond promptly to changes in resident status and emergencies

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Maine LPN or RN license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption per facility policy
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and dosage calculation
• Resident assessment and care planning
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Team collaboration and delegation
