Shift Type: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and assess residents' health status and document changes accurately
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
  • Delegate and supervise care provided by CNAs or support staff

Qualifications

  • Active LPN or RN license in Maine or a compact state
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred
  • Must be able to provide state/federal ID and wear a photo badge at all times

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of nursing principles and evidence-based practice
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail
