Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse
Location: Camden, Maine
Start Date: 08-18-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem overnight shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Monitor residents' vital signs and overall condition, responding promptly to changes
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
- Support residents' comfort and dignity while promoting independence
Qualifications
- Valid LPN or RN license in Maine (or compact state where applicable)
- Completion of COVID-19 vaccination series or an approved medical/religious exemption
- Current BLS/CPR certification (recommended, check facility requirements)
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Must provide state or federal identification and wear a photo badge at all times
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical nursing skills including medication administration and patient assessment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to document accurately and use electronic health records
- Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
