Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist in delivering exceptional patient care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on orthodontic procedures and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or eligible for certification
• Valid Maryland Dental Radiography certification
• Previous experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Current CPR certification required
• A passion for helping patients achieve beautiful smiles

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to infection control and safety standards
