Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and prophylaxis
- Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant to streamline patient care
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care techniques
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized
- Document patient care accurately in the practice management system
- Support the dental team to create a positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Experience in general dentistry preferred
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with dental practice management software
- Excellent interpersonal and chairside manner
- Attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Ability to work effectively with dental assistants and other staff
