Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to help them restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all services provided
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in line with state practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure the best outcomes
• Promote a safe environment by following infection control and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy license in Maryland or ability to obtain prior to start
• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in physical therapy assessment and treatment planning
• Knowledgeable in documenting patient progress and outcomes
• Able to supervise and support rehabilitation staff
• Strong collaborator with interdisciplinary medical teams
• Committed to regulatory compliance and patient safety
• Excellent verbal and written communication
