Physical Therapist - Travel
Location: Westernport, Maryland
Start Date: 08-19-2026
End Date: 11-18-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to help them restore function and mobility
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all services provided
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in line with state practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure the best outcomes
- Promote a safe environment by following infection control and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapy license in Maryland or ability to obtain prior to start
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
Education
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in physical therapy assessment and treatment planning
- Knowledgeable in documenting patient progress and outcomes
- Able to supervise and support rehabilitation staff
- Strong collaborator with interdisciplinary medical teams
- Committed to regulatory compliance and patient safety
- Excellent verbal and written communication
