Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene care to patients
• Perform routine cleanings, scaling, and polishing
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Assist with patient comfort and safety

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred
• CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently within 30-minute appointment slots

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Understanding of oral health and hygiene best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and time management
• Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records
• Ability to work effectively with a dental assistant
