Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse medical unit population
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients' conditions closely, especially during overnight hours
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to implement and adjust care plans
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Previous acute care or medical unit experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
