Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Document all services thoroughly, ensuring compliance with state and facility regulations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to optimize communication and swallowing outcomes
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Active Maryland state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills

Education

  • MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

  • Expertise in patient evaluation and treatment planning
  • Skilled in swallowing therapy and dysphagia management
  • Proficient in documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
  • Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
  • Clinical problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
