Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered dental hygiene care
• Perform thorough cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take digital and traditional dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care strategies
• Assist the dentist with exams and procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent patient communication and education abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments (per diem roles)
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred, but new grads welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental radiography (X-ray) safety and processing
• Familiarity with dental software for charting and documentation
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
• Time management and adaptability in fast-paced settings
• Empathy and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
