Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons during wisdom tooth extractions and other surgical procedures
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse oximetry
• Administer and monitor nitrous oxide and IV sedation under professional supervision
• Capture high-quality panoramic X-rays to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and operatory for each procedure
• Provide compassionate, reassuring care to patients before, during, and after surgery

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with nitrous oxide and IV sedation protocols
• Proficiency in taking panoramic X-rays
• Skilled in monitoring vital signs (BP and pulse oximetry)
• Prior experience assisting with wisdom tooth surgery
• A current dental assistant certification or equivalent training is a plus
