Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy with precision
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays to assist with diagnosis
• Document patient care and maintain accurate dental charts
• Collaborate with dentists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Sterilize instruments and uphold strict infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in a dental office is preferred but not required

• Oral prophylaxis and scaling and root planing
• Patient education and oral hygiene instruction
• Dental radiography and safety procedures
• Periodontal disease assessment and management
• Infection control and sterilization protocols
• Electronic dental records and scheduling software
