Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings and oral hygiene instruction
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles and good oral habits
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a comfortable patient experience
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure infection control standards are met

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
• Previous experience as a dental hygienist preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Education

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene or related field

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and patient care
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and radiography
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to put patients at ease
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
