Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 60
Bill Rate: $28.00+ per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed respiratory therapy and evaluate patient responses to ensure optimal care
- Interpret physician orders and assess patient needs to tailor treatments
- Perform invasive procedures in critical care and patient care units with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with the clinical team as a respiratory care consultant
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and adjust assignments to maintain high-quality care
- Take ownership of patient outcomes in independent practice
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program (required)
- Current Kansas license or eligibility to obtain one (required)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC (required)
- One year of respiratory care experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
- Ability to respond quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Education
- Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong foundation in respiratory care and patient assessment
- Ability to interpret physician orders and adjust care plans accordingly
- Skilled in delivering therapy and evaluating patient response
- Experience with invasive procedures and critical care
- Excellent clinical consultation and communication skills
