Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Glenwood Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the care team
• Document patient care thoroughly in electronic health records
• Collaborate with nurses, aides, and providers to create positive outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and healthy practices

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license required (compact state accepted)
• Current BLS certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption required
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Must bring government-issued photo ID and wear a facility badge at all times

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy per scope of practice
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts
• Proficient with electronic medical records and charting
• Adaptability to quickly acclimate to new facilities and protocols
