Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and thorough dental hygiene care to patients
• Perform dental cleanings, examinations, and preventative treatments
• Educate patients on oral health best practices and at-home care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Work collaboratively with dentists and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Ability to provide gentle, patient-centered care
