Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate advanced radiography and CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for patients from pediatric to geriatric
• Position patients safely and comfortably while ensuring optimal image quality
• Perform portable X-rays and surgical C-arm imaging in a variety of acute care settings
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure accurate exams and excellent patient care
• Manage PACS image workflow and maintain accurate patient records
• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
• Start IVs and administer contrast as needed for CT studies

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current New Hampshire State Medical Imaging License in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years current acute care hospital CT/X-ray experience
• High-level proficiency with C-Arm, Fluoroscopy, PACS, and IV placement
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Travel experience (at least 6 months) highly preferred
• Must live 50+ miles from the facility (no locals)

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable performing radiography, CT, portable X-ray, fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures
• Strong patient positioning and immobilization techniques
• Knowledge of PACS and RIS systems
• IV placement and contrast administration skills
• Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new departments and workflows
