Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by sterilizing equipment and arranging instruments
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgeries to ensure patient safety
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations by passing instruments and supplies
• Monitor and track surgical supplies, ensuring proper inventory and availability
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons to deliver optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Certified Surgical Technologist experience
• Active NCCT or NBSTSA certification required (documentation required)
• Current CST certification
• Clean background and employment history
• Ability to work Monday-Friday day shifts with on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and OR protocols
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate surgeon needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments
• Understanding of patient safety standards and infection control practices
• Ability to stay calm and focused during surgical procedures
