Occupational Therapist - Travel
Location: Bellingham, Washington
Start Date: 08-05-2026
End Date: 10-31-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Day Shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders and referrals
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Document therapy services accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) per state practice acts and facility policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to support patient goals
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
- Active Washington Occupational Therapy license, or the ability to obtain one
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
- A passion for helping patients regain independence in daily living
Education
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
- Patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Interdisciplinary collaboration
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Working knowledge of state and federal OT regulations
