Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders and referrals
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Document therapy services accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) per state practice acts and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to support patient goals
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active Washington Occupational Therapy license, or the ability to obtain one
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• A passion for helping patients regain independence in daily living

Education

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Occupational therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
• Patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Working knowledge of state and federal OT regulations
