Nurse Manager - GI Services
Location: Chico, California
Start Date: 07-29-2026
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, days (full-time)
Hours per Week: 40
Bill Rate: $175,000/year
Benefits
- Salary range: $114,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year

Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of GI Services, ensuring high-quality patient care
- Develop and manage department budgets and productivity targets
- Lead and support staff, fostering a positive work environment
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and development
Qualifications
- Current California RN license in good standing
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 5 years of GI nursing experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a relevant setting
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
Education
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement
- Financial management and budgeting skills
- Human resources management and employee relations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong leadership, delegation, and problem-solving skills
- Critical care experience a plus
