Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of GI Services, ensuring high-quality patient care
• Develop and manage department budgets and productivity targets
• Lead and support staff, fostering a positive work environment
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and development

Qualifications

• Current California RN license in good standing
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 5 years of GI nursing experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a relevant setting
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred

Education

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement
• Financial management and budgeting skills
• Human resources management and employee relations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong leadership, delegation, and problem-solving skills
• Critical care experience a plus
