Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians with patient intake and clinical assessments to deliver compassionate care
Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked and ready for each patient
Perform routine clinical tasks such as vitals, basic procedures, and documentation
Support patient communication by explaining procedures and answering questions clearly
Coordinate with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
Maintain accurate patient records and follow established protocols for safety and privacy

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfort with clinical tasks like taking vitals and assisting with procedures
Strong communication and patient-service orientation
Ability to pass required background and health screenings
Previous clinic or hospital experience is a plus but not always required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vitals, specimen collection basics, room preparation
Familiarity with electronic health records or willingness to learn
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Professional bedside manner and patient-focused communication
Ability to follow protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
Team-oriented mindset and adaptability in a clinical environment
