Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care to residents in a skilled nursing environment
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care thoroughly
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient vitals and report changes in condition promptly
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Must pass background check and comply with facility requirements
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
• Ability to complete the assigned shift reliably

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
