Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care clearly
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team promptly
- Assist with safety, mobility, and daily living activities to support patient well-being
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and care plans to ensure continuity
- Support a positive environment for patients and families with professionalism and empathy
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact/state-appropriate licensure) required
- Successful completion of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Strong patient care skills and reliable clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Previous LPN experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical training are welcome to apply
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic IV/PO knowledge
- Vital signs assessment and patient monitoring
- Basic wound care and ADL assistance
- Electronic charting and documentation best practices
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle fast-paced clinical situations
