Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to keep patients' smiles healthy
• Assist dentists during procedures and ensure a smooth patient experience
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and treatment areas

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively with dentists and dental assistants
• Experience with dental software and digital X-ray systems is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental anatomy and periodontal disease
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Proficiency with patient management and clinical documentation systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
• Attention to detail in infection control and sterilization
