Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to maintain oral health
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist dentists during procedures and take dental X-rays
• Document patient care accurately and maintain a clean clinical environment
• Build lasting relationships with patients to ensure comfort and trust

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New York State
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
• Experience with electronic health records
• Excellent patient education and interpersonal skills
