Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dental hygienist during patient exams and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
• Document patient information and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygienist Assistant license in Maryland
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in a dental office setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficient in taking and processing X-rays
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills
