Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support daily needs
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes promptly
Support safe patient transfers and assist with ambulation using proper techniques
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (California certification preferred or eligible)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts and adapting to per-diem schedules
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work well on a team
Prior CNA experience in a clinical, long-term care, or acute setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care tasks and ADL assistance
Ability to accurately take and document vital signs
Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
Familiarity with basic charting or electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong observational skills and the ability to report clinical changes clearly
