Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct resident care and support daily activities with dignity
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Observe and document resident conditions, behaviors, and changes accurately
- Communicate clearly with the nursing team and report any concerns promptly
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Support care plans and participate in team huddles, training, and orientation
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification for Pennsylvania
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by the facility
- Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude and reliable work ethic
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic bedside care
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Comfortable with resident transfers and safe patient handling techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Accurate documentation and observational skills
