Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers and mobility needs to promote independence
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with caregivers
Support infection prevention and follow facility safety protocols
Help create a comfortable, dignified environment for residents and patients

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (CNA) in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain
Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable assisting with ADLs, transfers, and basic patient care
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Prior experience in long-term care or acute care helpful but caring attitude is essential

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Ability to observe and document changes in patient condition
Good interpersonal and time management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting
