Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents while maintaining dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
• Document care provided accurately and timely in resident records
• Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to prevent falls and injuries
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
• Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (PA preferred) in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable attendance and the ability to perform physical aspects of the role

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed and current CNA program/certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic nursing care procedures and infection control practices
• Comfortable with documentation and charting best practices
• Skilled at safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• Good observation skills to notice and report changes in resident condition
• Empathetic interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and families
