Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while preserving dignity and independence
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Accurately document care delivered and observations in resident records
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection prevention practices
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and care team members to support care plans

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in the state of Connecticut
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate direct care to residents
Basic understanding of resident safety and infection control practices
Willingness to complete facility onboarding and any required screenings
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and assistance with activities of daily living
Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
Accurate documentation and charting practices
Infection control, safe patient handling, and fall prevention
Teamwork, clear communication, and resident-focused mindset
