Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including assisting with activities of daily living
Measure and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and patients
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning while promoting dignity and independence
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and coworkers to ensure continuity of care
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active authorization to work in Pennsylvania (if applicable)
Comfortable providing direct patient care and physical assistance
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Ability to pass background and health screenings as required by the facility
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with activities of daily living support and patient hygiene
Competence in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Basic charting and documentation skills
Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
Teamwork and ability to follow assigned care plans
Good observational skills to notice and report patient changes
