Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment following infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to support quality care
• Document care provided accurately and promptly per facility standards

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• High school diploma or equivalent (if required by facility)
• Experience in acute care or long-term care settings is a plus
• Must be compassionate, reliable, and able to work as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail in patient care and documentation
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and infection control practices
• Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
