Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned clinical education content to frontline staff, travelers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide unit-based rounding, reinforcement, and just-in-time coaching to ensure competency
• Validate understanding and document education completion accurately and in a timely manner
• Support night shift, weekend, and hard-to-reach colleague education needs
• Assist with focused re-education when audit findings or practice observations identify gaps
• Identify barriers to education completion and escalate to Clinical Education leadership

Qualifications

• Active RN license (any state) or compact license preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 years of acute care, critical care, or procedural nursing experience
• Previous travel experience or Mission Health experience a plus
• Strong communication, coaching, and teaching skills

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Clinical teaching and competency validation
• Nurse residency or transition-to-practice training
• Preceptor development and skills validation
• Staff onboarding and orientation
• Regulatory readiness and quality/safety initiatives
• Education tracking tools, dashboards, and LMS platforms
