Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and supplies for procedures
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile field
• Coordinate with operating room staff and sterile processing for timely case completion
• Ensure patient safety and optimal surgical environment
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team to facilitate smooth procedures

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent military training
• 1 year of surgical technologist experience in an acute care OR preferred

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent military program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in surgical technique and sterile technique
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Sound judgment and professionalism
