Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Travel
Location: Revere, MA
Start Date: 08-05-2026
End Date: 11-04-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions and activities following the OT plan of care
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Communicate patient status, observations, and concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
- Support patients in developing and restoring functional independence
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain before start)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
- Ability to implement therapy interventions per the OT plan of care
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Therapy interventions and treatment techniques
- Patient documentation and record-keeping
- Patient and family education
- Effective communication
- Infection control and safety compliance
- Occupational therapy principles and practices
- Patient care and functional rehabilitation
