Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions and activities following the OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status, observations, and concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
• Support patients in developing and restoring functional independence

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain before start)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Ability to implement therapy interventions per the OT plan of care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
