Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement therapeutic interventions and activities according to each patient's OT plan of care
  • Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner to ensure continuity of care
  • Empower patients and their families with education to support functional independence
  • Communicate patient status and progress clearly with the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Champion safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to keep everyone healthy and safe

Qualifications

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with an active state license (or ability to obtain one)
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Strong communicator who thrives in a team environment
  • Passionate about patient care and helping people regain their independence

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

  • Skilled in occupational therapy interventions and patient care
  • Proficient in accurate medical documentation
  • Knowledgeable in safety protocols and infection control practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experienced in patient and family education
