Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement personalized occupational therapy interventions that help patients regain independence and confidence in daily activities
• Accurately document patient progress in a timely manner to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to promote successful outcomes
• Communicate patient status and observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled environment while following all compliance protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active COTA license in Ohio (or ability to obtain before start)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in implementing occupational therapy interventions
• Patient education and family support techniques
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Understanding of safety, infection control, and compliance standards
