Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, attentive care to residents in a skilled nursing center
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, repositioning, and safe transfers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care provided and communicate openly with the care team
• Support residents' emotional and physical well-being with kindness and respect

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Previous CNA experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Must bring a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care protocols and safety standards
• Ability to accurately take vitals signs and use basic medical equipment
• Skill in assisting with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing resident needs
