Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, personalized care to residents, helping them with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor residents' health by checking vital signs and observing changes, then reporting concerns to the nursing team
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment that promotes a feeling of home
• Communicate warmly with residents and their families, building trust and providing emotional support

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• A genuine passion for caring for others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well within a team and follow care plans

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Skill in using medical equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and thermometers
• Strong observational and documentation abilities
• Understanding of resident rights and HIPAA privacy regulations
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with residents and families
