Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammography and DEXA examinations with high-quality imaging
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety throughout
• Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal image quality
• Review images for quality and collaborate with the radiologist as needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC
• Follow strict radiation safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• At least 2 years of experience in mammography
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Experience with EPIC and Hologic equipment preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Screening mammography technique
• DEXA scanning procedures
• EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS familiarity
• Patient positioning and radiation safety
• Compassionate patient communication
